A new art festival is coming to San Antonio. On October 22 through 24, the Shops at La Cantera will host the first Shops at La Cantera Art Festival. This outdoor show is a juried festival featuring hand-made ceramics, copper, glass, jewelry, leather, mixed-media, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, wood and more.

The sophisticated, open-air shopping environment of the Shops at La Cantera provides a unique setting for what will undoubtedly be a memorable festival. This is the ideal opportunity for the art lover hoping to find that perfect one-of-a-kind piece. The soothing environment of tranquil water and lush greenery is the perfect backdrop to showcase the unique art offered for sale by 150 local and international fine and contemporary artists. It's the perfect setting to bring artists and patrons together.


The Shops at La Cantera Art Festival 2010 is proud to feature the work of Austin artist Kathy Womack. Kathy is perhaps best known for Women and Wine, a series of joyous paintings depicting elegant, stylish women celebrating life, friendship and a good glass of wine. But Women and Wine is only one of many delightful works she offers at art festivals around Texas and at her galleries in Houston and Austin.
